"If a dog will not come to you after having
looked you in the face, you should go home
and examine your conscience."

- Woodrow Wilson
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. As a
child I spent all my time with the family dogs teaching
them pet tricks. My animal fascination led to a varied
training and show career in horses, cows, goats, and
pigs. Then it was off to college where I majored in
animal science. Today I find myself right back where I
started…..DOGS!!

I have worked with dogs in tracking, protection, air
scent, and herding. I have titled dogs in obedience,
conformation, agility, and flyball. I also enjoy Frisbee
and dock diving.

To pay for all this I work as a Transportation Dispatcher
for our local school district. In the evenings I teach
sport dog lessons.

Somehow I still manage to house and train a very
eclectic group of dogs. In addition I have always been
an advocate of 'rescue' dogs. Homeless, abused, or
abandoned dogs that I take in, train, and then re-home
in a 'forever' home. It is costly, time consuming, and at
times heartbreaking but also rewarding. I am proud I
can make a difference in saving just one more.
